At The Beauty Clinic we are committed to safeguarding and protecting the privacy of our clients and visitors to our website. This notice explains how we do this and your rights regarding any information we collect from you.
What information we collect about you?
We collect information about you when you book an appointment, visit the salon for a treatment or to purchase products, this is either over the telephone, on paper, online or by email.
We will only collect relevant information to ensure we always provide a safe and professional service to you. This may include your name, address, telephone number, email and any relevant information for us to assess your suitability for treatments and products (eg known sensitivities, allergies, pregnancy, medications) treatment notes and IP address.
For clients under the age of 16 we will only keep and use their personal information with the consent of a parent, guardian or carer.
You have the right to choose not to disclose personal information to us although this may result in us not being able to provide the services you requested.
How we use the information we collect?
To fulfil our contract to provide the service or treatment requested by you.
To communicate with you regarding upcoming appointments, appointment requests or any other enquires submitted to us.
To provide you with information on offers, services or products you have opted in to receive.
Disclosing your information
We will never share your personal information with any third parties without your prior consent except to prevent fraud or if required to do so by law.
Marketing
We would like to send you information about services or products we think might be of interest to you. We will ask for your consent to receive such marketing from us.
You have the right at any time to stop us contacting you for marketing purposes. If you have consented to receive marketing you can opt out any time by contacting us or by clicking unsubscribe in our emails.
How long will we keep your information?
If we have no contact with you for 12 months your personal data will be archived and then securely deleted after 3 years. We are obliged to keep financial records for 6 years.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can request a copy of any personal information we hold about you at any time.
We will from time to time check with you that the information we hold is still accurate and up to date.
You have the right to ask us to remove or correct any information you feel is inaccurate.
How we store your information
We adopt appropriate storage and security measures against unauthorized access of your information.
Your personal data will only be accessed by The Beauty Clinic employees to contact you regarding upcoming appointments, to update records on services, treatments or products provided.
E-Newsletters
If you have opted in to receive E-newsletters about our offers, products and services you have the opportunity to opt out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of our emails,
E-Newsletters may contain tracking information, for example if emails were opened, links followed or forwarded etc. This information is only collected to allow us to refine our future marketing campaigns to ensure you only receive relevant information suited to your needs.
